Arcane spell attacker. Read separately sourced Taiwan weapon and role details, purpose-specific choices and a local build worksheet.

Global class overview: Arcane spell attacker.

Taiwan guide — 魔道星: Spellbook. Ranged magic burst attacker using a spellbook. The guide describes lower health and defenses, with control skills helping before enemies approach.

The weapon and detailed role statements are from the Taiwan guide. They are not numerical Global build testing or proof that every regional patch uses identical effects.

Taiwan starter choices: learn a documented interaction

Build a practice tray around resource recovery, a fire-mark passive and its conditional attack; compare one defensive Stigma.

Official Taiwan skill names are retained so you can find them in that client. English labels explain the task; they are not verified Global skill names. Use only choices you have actually unlocked, and equip a Stigma only when available. These four options are not an equip-all loadout, a point allocation or a strongest rotation.

  1. Resource-returning attack chain

    火花箭 - 爆裂 - 烈火 / active

Keep 火花箭 / 爆裂 / 烈火 as the resource-returning attack chain in the practice tray.

Why compare it: It gives a documented MP-recovery option alongside the conditional attack.

    • The row says damage and MP recovery but does not explicitly label the chain’s element; do not infer fire damage from its name alone.

  2. Fire-mark passive

    火之標識 / passive

With this passive available, first use an unlocked skill whose current tooltip explicitly states fire-element damage to apply 火之標識. Check the mark before using 火花爆炸; do not assume the MP-returning chain is fire-element damage from its name.

Why compare it: The passive explains how the named mark is applied and why fire damage interacts with it.

    • A fire-element hit applies the mark; further fire damage against the marked target has an additional-damage effect. No coefficient is supplied.

  3. Marked-target attack

    火花爆炸 / active

Use this on a target that actually has 火之標識.

Why compare it: Its target condition is explicit, so it is more useful than advice to press every damage skill on cooldown.

    • Requires 火之標識 on the target. The skill deals fire damage and restores MP.

  4. Defensive Stigma option

    鋼鐵屏障 / stigma

If unlocked and equipped, choose this when you want to practise using a shield before incoming pressure.

Why compare it: A defensive option gives the practice tray a survival decision alongside damage.

    • The guide describes a maximum-HP-based shield and temporary PvE/PvP damage resistance. No shield coefficient or recommended timing against a specific encounter is verified.

What these sources do not establish
  • This guide does not supply per-skill character unlock levels or point costs. No level-specific fully allocated preset is established.
  • Exact cooldowns, damage/healing coefficients, specialization-number choices and point-budget legality were not established from these descriptive rows.
  • Practice on eligible targets; no boss-control guarantee, DPS ranking, optimal rotation or simultaneous Stigma-slot capacity is inferred.

Burst windows versus time to stay safe

Decide whether you prefer burst spell damage and active control while managing a fragile position. Compare present cast conditions and defensive options in your client, not a numeric tier claim.

The questions below are our editorial preparation method, anchored to that role rather than a tested strongest setup.

  1. How long is the safe window for casting?
  2. Which control option buys the time you need?
  3. What will you do when an enemy reaches you?

Turn the goal into a client-specific preset

The Taiwan skill guide distinguishes active and passive mastery skills, specialization conditions and Stigma advancement. Ordinary skill points and Stigma fragments are different resources. Read the effect and prerequisite in your current client before spending either.

For this spellbook role, record the weapon and equipment effects you already have, the current skill names you intend to change, and the encounter you want to handle. No universal stat breakpoint, exact slot count or best-in-slot list is assumed.

Make one change you can evaluate

Record cast opportunities, interruptions and defensive actions alongside damage. Do not judge a fragile spell setup on a test where it never had to move.

Save the purpose, client patch and actual choices below. The manual damage-test calculator can compare your own measured totals, but a damage number cannot replace healing, control or protection responsibilities.

Your build notebook

Write the exact choices shown in your client and what you want to test. This is a personal worksheet, not a point-budget simulator, a recommended rotation or a best-in-slot verdict.

Only Save writes these notes to this browser. Restore is explicit. Changing a game patch does not update the notes automatically.
