Chanter: role and build decisions
Ally-buffing support. Read separately sourced Taiwan weapon and role details, purpose-specific choices and a local build worksheet.
Chanter in the official overviews
Global class overview: Ally-buffing support.
Taiwan guide — 護法星: Staff. Supports allies with buffs and can apply status effects. The guide describes secondary healing and damage alongside increasing ally stats.
The weapon and detailed role statements are from the Taiwan guide. They are not numerical Global build testing or proof that every regional patch uses identical effects.
Taiwan starter choices: learn a documented interaction
Choose a direct approach option and party recovery, then compare two purpose-labelled Stigma options; no unsupported Stigma slot count or simultaneous loadout is claimed.
Official Taiwan skill names are retained so you can find them in that client. English labels explain the task; they are not verified Global skill names. Use only choices you have actually unlocked, and equip a Stigma only when available. These four options are not an equip-all loadout, a point allocation or a strongest rotation.
Approach and MP recovery
突進擊破 / active
Choose this when moving toward a target and recovering MP are useful in the same action.
Why compare it: It offers a practical melee-entry option with an explicitly stated resource effect.
- The source gives no range, cooldown or unlock level.

Party recovery and cleanse
痊癒咒語 / active
Choose this when practising immediate recovery, removal of a weakening effect and continued recovery for nearby party members.
Why compare it: One named skill has a clear support task without requiring an invented healing rotation.
- The guide says it removes one weakening effect. Do not broaden this to all debuffs or every encounter mechanic.

Party damage and resistance option
不敗真言 / stigma
If unlocked and equipped, compare this for a damage-and-resistance party-support purpose.
Why compare it: It has an actual compatibility rule that matters when selecting a support effect.
- Cannot coexist with 保護之光: only the higher-skill-level effect applies; at equal levels 不敗真言 applies. Do not invent the other skill’s class or priority beyond this text.

Movement-support option
疾走真言 / stigma
If unlocked and equipped, compare this when party movement speed is the purpose of the preset.
Why compare it: The guide distinguishes movement support from 不敗真言’s damage/resistance purpose.
- The text also describes a chance to heal on attack hits. It does not establish that it is mutually exclusive with 不敗真言; these are comparative choices, not a claim about slot capacity.

What these sources do not establish
- This guide does not supply per-skill character unlock levels or point costs. No level-specific fully allocated preset is established.
- Exact cooldowns, damage/healing coefficients, specialization-number choices and point-budget legality were not established from these descriptive rows.
- Practice on eligible targets; no boss-control guarantee, DPS ranking, optimal rotation or simultaneous Stigma-slot capacity is inferred.
Buff coverage versus supplementary healing and damage
Decide how much of your play is group support versus supplementary healing or damage. Compare these responsibilities with Cleric rather than assuming one automatically replaces the other in every encounter.
The questions below are our editorial preparation method, anchored to that role rather than a tested strongest setup.
- Which ally effects are actually needed by this group?
- Where is supplementary healing expected?
- What damage opportunity remains after the support job is done?
Turn the goal into a client-specific preset
The Taiwan skill guide distinguishes active and passive mastery skills, specialization conditions and Stigma advancement. Ordinary skill points and Stigma fragments are different resources. Read the effect and prerequisite in your current client before spending either.
For this staff role, record the weapon and equipment effects you already have, the current skill names you intend to change, and the encounter you want to handle. No universal stat breakpoint, exact slot count or best-in-slot list is assumed.
Make one change you can evaluate
Record the group composition and active buffs. Avoid attributing the entire group result to one skill change or assuming Chanter and Cleric are interchangeable.
Save the purpose, client patch and actual choices below. The manual damage-test calculator can compare your own measured totals, but a damage number cannot replace healing, control or protection responsibilities.
Your build notebook
Write the exact choices shown in your client and what you want to test. This is a personal worksheet, not a point-budget simulator, a recommended rotation or a best-in-slot verdict.
Only Save writes these notes to this browser. Restore is explicit. Changing a game patch does not update the notes automatically.
