AION 2 / Field guide

Choose an AION 2 class

Compare the eight classes featured in the official Global overview, with separately labelled Taiwan weapon and role details. Filter responsibilities without a made-up tier list.

Global's current overview features eight classes. Taiwan's official class category also lists 拳星. Eight is the scope of this Global overview, not a claim that every regional client has the same roster.

Find a role to investigate

Filters describe the sourced role and a broad toolkit category. They are not a performance score. Weapon detail below comes from Taiwan guides; the Global overview confirms class names and broad roles.

All eight Global-overview classes are listed. Taiwan also documents an additional class.

Why this is not an S-tier list

A PvE damage test, a PvP matchup and a group-healing responsibility answer different questions. The official role descriptions support choosing a toolkit; they do not support a patch-independent strongest-class ranking.

We have no controlled cross-class benchmark or independently verified current tier methodology to publish. Use the comparison to shortlist roles, then review the selected class and the version-specific skill choices. A weapon label or a filter match is not a DPS prediction.

Can you change class?

The reviewed Taiwan creation guide documents choosing a class for a new character. It does not establish a universal free class change, a reclass level or current price for an existing character. Check the current client and service notice before acting.
