AION 2 / Field guide

AION 2 pets: know which system you are using

Separate pet acquisition, riding, genus analysis and auto-loot. Read Taiwan mechanics and Global transfer notes, then open a service-labelled external pet map.

Obtaining, riding and improving are different tasks

TaskTaiwan guide describes
Obtain a petRelevant monster soul points; some pets also come from rewards.
Ride a petMovement-speed benefit, with riding restrictions in some areas.
CollectionOwned pets and collection counts shared on the same server.
Genus analysisCorresponding Soul Crystals and Kina; locking effects increases cost.
Auto-lootA separate purchased per-character function with remaining time in the menu.

Find a pet on a separate Global community map

This is an external-map workflow. We have not independently surveyed those pins, imported the dataset or established a complete pet-farming route. CoGM is not substituted for this task because a pet category was not verified there.

  1. Open RaidRelay using the map link below; its Global client/version is a provider statement.
  2. Select Altgard, Verteron or Reshanta.
  3. Enable Pets and search the target pet or monster name.
  4. Use the genus filter if appropriate, then inspect a returned pin.
  5. Confirm the location and current acquisition instructions in your own client.

Before spending analysis resources

Check the Global transfer Q&A before moving

The dated Global transfer Q&A describes pets and skins leaving the origin server with transferred characters. It also describes a choice of Genus Insight progress and an origin reset. Follow that service-specific notice rather than assuming all collection progress is duplicated.

Taiwan analysis costs and Global transfer behavior are separate evidence. Neither establishes a universal best pet, drop rate or current Global unlock requirement.
